Lippiestick Meets MastaPlann & Bambu (Part 1)

April was such a huge month for Hip Hop in our country. Events happened left and right, not just little events but really big ones that will definitely leave a mark in Filipino Hip Hop history. And I'm sorry for not writing sooner because I had to get over the excitement first so I could write like a normal person (LOL), you get what I mean.

Sooooo... first things first. Homecoming in B-Side. April 14 2012. MastaPlann. Bambu. OMG.

When I first heard that it's confirmed they will be here (around the beginning of 2012), I already spoke to Myke Sambajon (P&P Tattoo) to be assured of a personal meet and greet, which is always so much better than VIP access heehee! You see, I was pretty sure this event's gonna be big and as much as I know that to be part of that Homecoming concert audience will be dope, I wanted to shake hands, take photos and stuff. You see I've been a huge Bambu fan since I first heard about him. And I wouldn't let this moment pass! This is Bambu's first performance in the Philippines, and legendary MastaPlann comes here to perform only once every few years. A Hip Hop lover missing this event would just be super sad or stupid.

ANYWAY... I'm sure you've seen many photos of the event online, so if you weren't there you probably know what happened and how awesome the night was. MC Dash was the host... Bambu performed first... then MC Dash performed... then MastaPlann performed. Sorry if I'm all blah blah with my storytelling, because honestly, that night was just so perfect that I can't remember half of it because I was just too happy. FYI, I only had one bottle of beer. Not drunk. I enjoyed the night to the fullest. So, let me just share some of the photos. ;-)
